Sanctuary + any Normal Summoned monster with 1000 or less ATK

With the help of Salamangreat Almiraj, you're able to turn any Normal Summoned monster with 1000 or less ATK into a FIRE monster.

This means that a starting hand of Fire King Sanctuary and 4 handtraps is actually able to combo and set up Garunix Eternity, Hyang of the Fire Kings.

In the video below, we will use Droll & Lock Bird as a placeholder for any Normal Summoned monster with 1000 or less ATK. In real duels, this can be any card in your deck that fulfills these requirements - usually one of your handtraps.


This combo plays under Nibiru, the Primal Being, as you only summon 4 times.

Under Mulcharmy Fuwalos, your opponent draws 2 cards.

Additionally, this combo plays through Droll & Lock Bird.

Steps

  1. Normal Summon a monster with 1000 or less ATK.
  2. Link Summon Salamangreat Almiraj.
  3. Activate Fire King Sanctuary: place Fire King Island in the Field Zone.
  4. Activate Island: destroy Almiraj, then add Sacred Fire King Garunix from your Deck to your hand.
  5. Activate Sacred: Special Summon it from your hand.
  6. Activate Sacred again: destroy Fire King Courtier Ulcanix in your Deck.
  7. Activate Ulcanix: Special Summon Fire King High Avatar Garunix from your Deck.
